Many patients respond quickly in 1-5 visits, but there are those that need more intensive care to reduce chronic pain from old injuries and avoid the need of drugs and surgery. Every case and health problem is different. Please consult your doctor of chiropractic about your specific condition.
Our intensive care program helps manage pain, may improve function and improve sleep. It is specifically designed to treat chronic health conditions producing pain and disfunction ....
To help control pain and improve function and sleep, Non Force Chiropractic Care Program may include recommendations as outlined below.
We use special therapy tools together to achieve your health goals. They may include one or more of the following techniques or procedures.
1) Non-force Chiropractic adjusts and corrects distortion of the pelvis, vertebra, ribs and extremities. It addresses soft tissues to include spinal nerve roots as well as muscle, ligaments and tendons. Even specific organs may also be adjusted to relieve acid reflux. In this case the stomach can be pulled down from a slight tear in the diaphram relieving the symptoms of acid reflux so that medications can be decreased or in many cases, stopped completely. Any change in medicines for any condition must be made by you in consultation with your medical doctor.
2) SRT or Soft Tissue Release technique developed by Dr HJ Kimura DC and others addresses adhesions of the muscular ligamentous and tendon support system. It often addresses peripheral nervous tissue and trigger points that often cause deep, referred pain.
3) Cold Laser may help when you have acute or chronic pain but is considered "unproven practice" in the state of Colorado.
4) Hormone testing Hormone imbalance maybe due to age or other conditions. Testing and a symptom survey is necessary and a first step to balance symptoms that relate to hormone imbalance. Pain and mood swings are a few of many symptoms that hormone balancing done with nutritional supplementation and may have a long lasting, positive improving sleep and your general over all health.
The doctors will meet and discuss your case often after reviewing your exam findings, response to care, and your written health goals.
Every one is different. Due to your individual illness and trauma history and your stated goals for health, your frequency and duration of care will vary. Often times, fewer visits per month over a longer period of time is ideal. Over time, proper care for your needs, may balance, slow or even stop chronic conditions.
To administer a Non-force Chiropractic Health Program type of treatment takes at least half an hour per visit.
Once it is determined just what you will need, then a month of visits may be scheduled at a time.
I have kept this a general discussion because every one is different, with different goals for health. Every treatment builds on past treatments if new injuries are avoided, so over time great improvements may be seen.
Meet with us,have the exam, try some visits and decide for your self if our practice will fit your needs and budget. Once you see the light at the end of the tunnel and it becomes brighter and brighter you may not have to but up with a lesser state of health again.
Ideal for those interested in natural health care for chronic conditions.
Call now! Don't wait and say its only your age. If you want more life, filled with joy; it may begin here. It could begin now!
Sincerely In Health,
Lee Parimuha D.C.
For many years as alternative health care practioners we have guided and helped so many put many illnesses behind the them.
Another option for many is cross friction massage of the psoas muscle. This is an important area to release one of the major muscles commonly associated with pelvic distortions. The problem of "Pevlic Distortion" is important to discover and correct because of the imbalance of the muscles and soft tissues which may cause organ distortion and possible disease. Soft tissue/fascia connection to distortion can not be denied.
Cross friction massage is important in the area just under the skull. This area known as the sub-occipital area is around and about muscles, ligaments joints, blood flow to the first three neck vertebra. This is also the site of a reflex called the proprioception reflexes. These reflexes help maintain balance by acquiring information from joints and muscles throughout the body.Proprioception, may also be known as a sixth sense, was the last of the senses to be investigated. In essence it is concerned with knowing where our body is in relation to itself. For example when you close your eyes and touch your nose proprioception is what guides your movements. Without it, simple tasks such as scratching the back of your head becomes impossible.
Directional Non-Force Techniquetm is the original low force method of chiropractic developed by the late Dr. Richard VanRumpt DC (1904 - 1987) and now researched and taught by his successor, Christopher John, D.C. Known by the acronym "D.N.F.T.," it is unique in conception and has been the fountainhead for many other low force techniques in existence today.
D.N.F.T. utilizes a diagnostic system for subluxation analysis consisting of gentle challenging and a unique leg check. This testing allows the body itself to indicate the directions of misalignment of structures that are producing nerve interference.
A gentle but directionally specific thumb impulse provides a long lasting correction to bony and soft tissue structures. D.N.F.T. is able to achieve structural corrections without torquing, strong thrusts, and associated articular sounds that are often associated with traditional chiropractic.
D.N.F.T. is a patient oriented approach and may provide maximum, long lasting relief in a safe and effective manner. Low numbers of initial visits without the need for frequent follow up is the clear intention of this method.
